Booked by phone, text or web.

One calendar, three doors: the phone answered in your name, a text thread, a booking page. Only real slots offered, confirmed the evening before, cancellations refilled.

Nine accounts renew inside 30 days and three of them are the ones to worry about. Their ticket volume is up while usage is falling, which is the pattern that preceded every churn last quarter.

The booking that came in by phone

Scheduling software gives customers a link. Half of them phone anyway. Daciel takes the booking whichever way it arrives: the phone answered in your name with the calendar open, a text thread, or the booking page, all writing to the same calendar and offering only slots that are free. The evening before, the appointment is confirmed by call or text; a cancellation frees the slot and the waitlist is offered it in order.

Acme wants a renewal quote. Their contract is up in three weeks.

Ticket volume has climbed every month this quarter. Read that before we price it.

So someone pulls usage, open tickets and the last two invoices. Three systems.

And most of an afternoon. Hand it over and hold the send until one of us reads it.

Two things it does on day one

What is scheduling software?

Scheduling software lets customers book time from a page, syncs with the calendar and sends reminders. Calendly, Acuity, Square Appointments and Setmore hold the search, priced by seat or calendar, with reminders by text and email.

How scheduling works

01

Connect the calendar

Google, Outlook or your booking tool. Staff calendars and locations mapped.

02

Set hours and rules

Per line and location: hours, buffers, services and durations, who takes what.

03

Three doors

The phone answered in your name, a text thread, a booking page. All write to the same calendar.

04

Confirm

The evening before, by call or text; rebooked on the spot if they ask.

05

Fill

A cancellation is offered to the waitlist in order until the slot is taken.

Scheduling software, compared

How permissions work

Questions people ask before buying

Can customers book on the phone?

Yes. The receptionist answers in your name with the calendar open and books a real slot on the call.

Is there a booking page?

Yes, per service and staff member, writing to the same calendar as the phone and text bookings.

Does it send reminders?

By call or text the evening before, with rebooking on the spot; your choice of channel per service.

Does it work with our existing booking tool?

Yes. It reads and writes Google Calendar, Outlook or the booking tool you connect, offering only slots that are free there.
