Nine accounts renew inside 30 days and three of them are the ones to worry about. Their ticket volume is up while usage is falling, which is the pattern that preceded every churn last quarter.

The forecast meeting that ties out

Most forecasts are a spreadsheet of what each rep believes, rebuilt every week. Here the number is the sum of open, recorded deals weighted by the probability on their stage, and the Deals table beneath it shows exactly which rows made it. Change a stage and the number moves. Ask why it moved and the evidence is on the deal.

Acme wants a renewal quote. Their contract is up in three weeks.

Ticket volume has climbed every month this quarter. Read that before we price it.

So someone pulls usage, open tickets and the last two invoices. Three systems.

And most of an afternoon. Hand it over and hold the send until one of us reads it.

Two things it does on day one

What is sales forecast software?

Sales forecast software estimates what a pipeline will close in a period. The search is held by Clari, Salesforce and HubSpot forecasting, and by guides to spreadsheet methods. Clari-class tools sit on top of a CRM and apply a model to deal history; CRM forecasting sums stage probabilities the reps have set; spreadsheets do the same by hand.

How the forecast is built

01

Set a probability per stage

Qualified 20%, proposal 50%, verbal 80%, or whatever your history says. Rename the stages freely; the rule reads the stored value.

02

Deals move on evidence

The agent proposes a stage change when a meeting is held, a proposal is sent or a signature comes back; a rule or a rep applies it.

03

Recorded is separated from planned

Every deal is either recorded or planned. The forecast sums recorded, open deals; planned is drawn and excluded.

04

One rule, two screens

The overview figure and the Deals table total are computed by the same function, so they always tie.

05

Open the number

Click the total and the rows behind it are the table. Filter by stage, owner or close date.

Safe to forecast from. Every figure on the board is the sum of rows you can open, and a stage change carries the evidence that moved it.

How permissions work

Questions people ask before buying

Is it an AI forecast?

No. It is the weighted sum of open, recorded deals by the probability you set per stage. The AI's part is keeping the deals current and attaching the evidence for each stage.

Why exclude planned deals?

Because a founder's intended deals are useful to plan with and wrong to forecast from. Mixing them inflates a number people act on. They are shown, not summed.

Can the forecast read our existing CRM?

Yes. Connect HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive and the deals are read into the ledger with their stages; the same weighting applies.

What if a deal has no probability?

It is counted as open and listed beside the weighted total rather than silently treated as zero, so the forecast is never quietly too small.
