One customer, one record.

The call, the email and the invoice on one record, so the agent that answers knows what happened on the other channels. A person approves what leaves.

Nine accounts renew inside 30 days and three of them are the ones to worry about. Their ticket volume is up while usage is falling, which is the pattern that preceded every churn last quarter.

Every step, every tool call, every cost, and who approved it.

The customer who has already told you

The worst customer experience is repeating yourself: the email to support, the call to the office, the invoice query to accounts, each to someone who has never heard of the other two. Here they are one record. The agent that picks up the call sees the open ticket and the overdue invoice, answers from them, and a person approves anything that changes a promise.

Acme wants a renewal quote. Their contract is up in three weeks.

Ticket volume has climbed every month this quarter. Read that before we price it.
Marcus Hale9:13 AM
So someone pulls usage, open tickets and the last two invoices. Three systems.
Priya Raman9:14 AM
And most of an afternoon. Hand it over and hold the send until one of us reads it.

@Daciel draft the Acme renewal from usage and tickets, hold the send

Two things it does on day one

What does AI customer experience mean?

AI customer experience, as the vendors use it, means AI in the customer-facing channels: a chatbot on the site, an agent on the phone, suggested replies in the help desk, sentiment on the survey. Sierra, Decagon and Intercom sell the conversational layer; Zendesk and Salesforce add AI to the ticket. The experience improves inside each channel and stays broken between them, because the channels do not share a memory.

How the experience is built

01

One record

Customers, tickets, calls, deals and invoices are records in one business; a customer's page shows all of them.

02

Connect the channels

Your help desk or shared inbox, the mailbox, a phone number Daciel holds or answers for, your billing.

03

The agent reads first

Before any reply it reads the record: what was promised, what is open, what is owed.

04

Reply or hold

Informational replies go under your rules; anything that binds you is held for a named person.

05

Filed for the next person

Transcript, thread and outcome on the customer, so the next channel starts where the last one stopped.

AI customer experience tools, compared

How permissions work

Questions people ask before buying

Is this a chatbot?

It includes one for the site and messaging, but the point is the record behind every channel: the phone agent, the email agent and the chat agent read the same customer before they answer.

Does it run surveys or measure NPS?

No. It handles the conversations and files them. If you run a survey tool, its results can be attached to the customer record.

What can the agent decide on its own?

Replies that inform: status, hours, where something is, what a document says. Refunds, credits, exceptions and commitments are drafted and held for a named person.

Can it work with our existing help desk?

Yes. Connect Zendesk, Intercom, Front or a shared mailbox and the agent works inside it with the permissions of the person who connected it.

What does it cost?
