Nine accounts renew inside 30 days and three of them are the ones to worry about. Their ticket volume is up while usage is falling, which is the pattern that preceded every churn last quarter.

VoIP that picks up when you cannot

A VoIP phone system moved the PBX to the cloud and left the rest alone: extensions, ring groups, hold music, voicemail, priced per user. Daciel keeps the parts a small business uses, numbers, hours, routing to mobiles, and replaces the part that was never solved: the call nobody is free to take. An agent answers it in your name from your brief, books or transfers, and files it on the customer with the rest of their history.

Acme wants a renewal quote. Their contract is up in three weeks.

Ticket volume has climbed every month this quarter. Read that before we price it.

Two things it does on day one

What is a VoIP phone system?

A VoIP phone system carries business calls over the internet instead of phone lines: numbers, extensions, ring groups, voicemail, an app for the mobile and a desk phone if you want one, priced per user per month. RingCentral, Nextiva, Ooma, Dialpad, Vonage and 8x8 hold the search, with comparison sites ranking them on features and price per seat.

How the phone system works

01

Numbers

Buy local or toll-free numbers inside the product, or port the ones you have.

02

Hours and routing

Per line: hours, timezone, who rings first, who is on call, what the after-hours answer is.

03

The brief

What you do, prices you allow, the questions that must reach a person now.

04

Calls

Ring your people first or the agent first; transfers carry the caller's record and a summary.

05

Filed

Transcript, summary and outcome on the customer; the pattern per number in Reports.

VoIP phone systems, compared

How permissions work

Questions people ask before buying

Is Daciel a VoIP provider?

It is a cloud phone system: numbers bought inside the product, routing, texting, transfers to mobiles and an agent that answers. Calls are carried over the internet through Daciel's telephony partners.

Do we need desk phones?

No. Your people take calls on their mobiles or in the browser. Daciel does not sell or support desk-phone hardware.

How many users can we have?

Users are not counted. Contact Daciel for business plan availability and pricing.

Can we keep our numbers?

Yes. Port them in from any carrier, and port them out again if you leave.

What about call quality and uptime?

Calls run over Daciel's telephony partners with the same carriers the VoIP vendors use. Status is published; every call is logged with its outcome.
